The former janissary now searches for his own lost son, born of his illicit affair with Selina, sultan Mahmud's concubine. "Follow the wind" takes us on a journey to Chios, Syros, Athens, London and Constantinople from 1838, a transition period for the new Greek nation, to 1858, when it was still struggling to become truly democratic.
