Nadia Seremetakis (Νάντια Σερεμετάκη)

K. Nadia Seremetaki is an anthropologist with a 25-year research-writing and teaching career in cultural, social and applied anthropology. Her interdisciplinary writing work has been characterized as diverse, innovative and timeless. She has been teaching at foreign universities in various subjects of cultural studies and humanities & social sciences as well as comparative literature since 1992. Her books and articles as well as poetry, she writes in both English and Greek - she has dealt with issues of cultural translation as well in her books as well as articles. She has taught at well-known universities around the world, and since 2008 he has also been teaching in Greece, at the University of Peloponnese, School of Humanities and Cultural Studies. It combines rich research activity in various parts of the world with a strong extra-university, public-pedagogical presence, and has received distinctions both abroad and in Greece.
