Dr. Gail Holst-Warhaft is an adjunct associate professor of classics and comparative literature, at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.

She has written and produced 25 programs on rebetika music for Hellenic Public Radio (New York City). Translated libretto of Theodorakis's opera "Electra" for production at Carnegie Hall.  Prepared musical analysis and synopsis, lectured on the opera in Los Angeles and New York City, helped prepare choir for performance.  Acted as interpreter and assistant to Mr. Theodorakis for his visit to New York.
