Charles Hobson is an artist who has worked with artist's books for more than twenty-five years. Usually following literary or historical themes, his books have covered topics as diverse as famous couples who met in Paris (Parisian Encounters) and Leonardo's lessons on how to draw the human figure (Leonardo Knows Baseball). He is a member of the faculty at the San Francisco Art Institute and his works are held by the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum and the National Gallery, among others. His archive has recently been acquired by Stanford University.Â
